About the Clara Barton Community Center

	The Clara Barton Community Center is nestled in beautiful Cabin John, adjacent to the Clara Barton Children's Center. The Center provides a wide variety of programs for all ages.
Senior citizen activites, family special events, a summer children's program, holiday parties, and exercise classes are just a few of the programs at the Clara Barton Community Center.
	The indoor facilities include an exercise and weight room, game room, community room, lounge and social hall, some of which are available for rent for those special occasions and events.
The surrounding outdoor area includes fields, hiking trails, tennis and basketball courts, and two sets of play equipment.

The exercise/weight room is equipped with a full circuit of self-administered weight machines, exercise bicycles, a rowing machine and stair steppers. An affordable membership is available for those 16 years old and above.

The social hall, which can accommodate 200 people, provides space for a variety of social activities including private parties with rental fees determined by the type and duration of the event. A full service kitchen adjacent to the social hall makes it convenient for parties and special events. You'll also find opportunities for table tennis, billiards, and foosball in the game room.

A comfortable lounge is available for small rentals, meetings and classes. Wednesdays, the lounge the home for Clara Barton Seniors, a warm and inviting group that enjoys speakers, entertainment, mini-trips, and socializing.

Club Friday for children in grades 3-6 is an exciting program the first Friday evening each month, October through May, from 7 pm to 9 pm. Activities include games, DJ dances, crafts and .
